About the Author: Chris Cowlin: Chris is an author, actor and entrepreneur. Born in London in 1980, Chris has achieved a great deal in a short space of time. With a background in printing and advertising, Chris owns a successful publishing company and is himself a bestselling author having had number 1 sellers with Amazon, WHSmith and Waterstone’s. To date, he has written 138 books and, in October 2014, he was named the world record holder for ‘Most Quiz Books Published By A Single Author’ by RecordSetter.
Chris has written on a range of subjects but specialises in football, sport, television, music and pop stars. He has written official quiz books on many football clubs including Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Burnley, Coventry City, Heart of Midlothian, Hull City, Ipswich Town, Norwich City, Queens Park Rangers, Watford and West Bromwich Albion, to name but a few. A lifelong Tottenham Hotspur fan and season ticket holder, he has written several books about his favourite football club. His books have been endorsed by many celebrities and sports personalities including Jonathan Ross, Sir Alex Ferguson, Gary Lineker and Paul Gascoigne.
Chris’s writing credits include a foreword for a book by notorious criminal Charles Bronson, whom he visited in prison, and forewords to published quiz books. He is a regular contributor to The Sun, Daily Mirror and has written questions for various quiz apps including the award-winning quiz app ‘QuizUp’.
A big sports fan, Chris regularly attends football matches, and watches Formula 1, rugby, golf and tennis. He played alongside celebrities in charity football matches against Arsenal legends in 2014 and against Spurs legends in 2015. Chris is a keen runner and took part in the London marathon in 2012 and was shortlisted to carry the Olympic Flame in the same year. He regularly competes in running events across the UK and has raised over £40,000 for various charities.
In 2014, Chris took part in the Gherkin Challenge, running up 38 flights of stairs and has also completed an Insane Terrain mud and obstacle run, clambering over hay bales and running through waist high mud. In August 2014, he participated in a successful record event and now holds a 'Guinness World Record' certificate for helping to build the largest K’nex sculpture. Chris currently holds 10 world records.
In addition, Chris works as an actor, model and voice over artist. He has been involved in over 300 productions and appeared in many of the major UK soaps, playing a CID officer in EastEnders, a school governor in Coronation Street and an estate agent in Hollyoaks. Chris has also appeared in several high profile films including The Theory of Everything, Diana, The Imitation Game and The Sweeney. His personal highlight remains being pushed by Daniel Craig in the London Underground scene in the 2012 James Bond film, Skyfall.
During his career, Chris has appeared in hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles and been interviewed on radio stations and TV channels across the UK, promoting his books and charity work. He actively participates in social media and has over 350,000 followers on Twitter.
When he gets time in his busy schedule, Chris enjoys helping out in local community events and is a former local councillor, elected in March 2012 after beating both the Conservative Party and the Labour Party. He was also a very active school governor between 2010 and 2012. Chris lives in Essex and has two children, Harry and Aimee.
Scott Stevenson: Scott is an author, actor and artist. He was born in Bath in 1983 and grew up in rural surroundings and has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Bath Spa University.
After spending a number of years managing a team supporting children and young adults on the autistic spectrum, Scott followed his dream of working in the film and television industry. To date, he has appeared in over 200 productions including music videos for Kasabian and The Kaiser Chiefs, various television commercials and featured roles in successful movies such as Les Miserables, Muppets Most Wanted, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and The Imitation Game. In addition, his work on television includes well-loved series, most notably Doctor Who, Downton Abbey and EastEnders to name but a few.
Scott also paints commissioned artwork, writes children’s stories and likes to watch his beloved Liverpool FC play. He also participates in local pub quizzes across Somerset and frequently composes quiz questions for social functions. Scott’s first published book ‘The Ultimate Pub Quiz Book’ was a number 1 best-seller on Amazon. Scott lives in Midsomer Norton in Somerset, where he enjoys spending time with his young family and coaching a local children’s football team.

Star Wars is, without doubt, one of the most well-known film franchises of all time and is loved by millions all over the world. It was such a revolutionary concept and completely experimental, which appealed to many, because it married camera techniques and video computer technologies to create images on film for the very first time. The characters were innovative with personalities and attention to detail was apparent in every scene.

Films in the series continue to be made which is a testament to their longevity and I believe they will continue long into the future due to their significant impact on modern popular culture. Star Wars helped launch the science fiction boom in the late 1970s and turned sci-fi in to a blockbuster genre for the first time – productions in the same genre, even the ones made recently, are frequently compared to the original Star Wars films which is amazing because technology has dramatically improved since those days!

I was cast as the most iconic movie villain of all time, Darth Vader, and it has been part of my life for nearly 40 years. I feel fortunate to have played a role in this incredible film series and I love meeting fans and seeing the joy it has given many people across the globe. Chris and Scott have put in an enormous amount of research to compile this thoughtful and interesting quiz, which will appeal to all Star Wars fans and those who want to know more about the amazing characters, facts about the production and the actors behind the masks.
