About the Author: Mark McCaighey works in Cambridge as a Training Administrator. As a long-time fan of classic British comedy, he has written on the subject for magazines and newsletters. In 1999 he began on local radio in Dublin, writing and presenting 'Laughing Matter' a live weekly two hour show dedicated to classic comedy. The show was the only one of its kind and ran until 2002. He returned to Cambridge and in 2003 continued writing and presenting a variety of unique classic comedy orientated shows, again for local radio. This is his first published book.
