About the Author: Chris Cowlin: Chris is an author, actor and entrepreneur. Born in London in 1980, Chris has achieved a great deal in a short space of time. With a background in printing and advertising, Chris owns a successful publishing company and is himself the author of 136 books. In October 2014, he was named the world record holder for ‘Most Quiz Books Published By A Single Author’ by RecordSetter.
Chris has written on a range of subjects but specialises in football, sport, television and music. A lifelong Tottenham Hotspur fan and season ticket holder, he has written several books about his favourite football club. His books have been endorsed by many celebrities and sports personalities such as Jonathan Ross, Sir Alex Ferguson, Gary Mabbutt and Gary Lineker.
Chris’s writing credits include a foreword for a book by notorious criminal Charles Bronson, whom he visited in prison on two occasions. He is a regular contributor to The Sun, Daily Mirror and the letters page of local newspapers.
A keen runner, Chris took part in the London marathon in 2012 and was shortlisted to carry the Olympic Flame in the same year. He regularly competes in running events across the UK and has raised over £36,000 for various charities.
During his career, Chris has appeared in hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles and been interviewed on radio stations across the UK, promoting his books and charity work. He actively participates in social media and has over 300,000 followers on Twitter. In August 2014, Chris participated in a successful record event and now holds a 'Guinness World Record' certificate for helping to build the largest K’nex sculpture. He currently holds 10 world records.
In addition, Chris works as an actor, model and voice over artist. He has been involved in over 250 productions in the last three years including his personal highlight, appearing as an extra in the 2012 James Bond film, Skyfall.
Chris has been involved in numerous local community events and is a former local councillor, elected in March 2012, with a majority of 798 votes, beating both the Conservative Party and the Labour Party. He was also a very active school governor between 2010 and 2012. Chris has two children, Harry and Aimee.
Kevin Snelgrove: Kevin was born in Frome, Somerset, in 1960.
A prolific author, Kevin has written over 70 books on a range of subjects, including football, sport, television, film, music, health and leisure. Many of his books have been endorsed by celebrities and sports personalities such as Richard Wilson, Nicholas Parsons, Fennella Fielding, Ian Holloway and Neil Warnock.
Kevin has also recently taken up acting and was involved in the 2012 film The Seasoning House with Sean Pertwee. During his career, Kevin has appeared in TV, radio, DVD and in numerous newspapers and magazines.
Having worked with people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for 35 years, in 2013 Kevin decided to use his experience to benefit others and wrote a book about the subject.
Kevin lives in Frome with his wife Julie. He has four children; Samantha, Kate, Charlotte and Samuel, and a grandson, Reuben.
