Special Days give young people with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions a chance to escape the difficulties of their daily routine and share quality time with family and friends while pursuing an activity they can all enjoy. A Special Day could be a trip to a health farm or a visit to a pop concert; an afternoon of Premiership Football or a flight on the British Airways London Eye. The Willow Foundation’s aim is to be able to arrange a Special Day of their choice for every seriously ill young adult in the UK. Your contribution from the purchase of this book will help fund such Special Days. As we all know, Spurs is a club steeped in tradition and was founded in 1882 by boys from Hotspur Cricket Club; however, we won’t go into any historical detail here as John has a section in the book covering this very subject.
