| Book Description: Shrouded in a veil of impenetrable darkness, the world of tomorrow offers Jacob Cain little comfort. One of the last surviving humans, he finds himself pitched in battle with an enemy even darker than the shadows which surround him. An uncountable mass of vampires pushes Man towards extinction. Two armies, both desperate to capture the human refugees, threaten to converge, forming an inescapable net. And trapped in an old military complex, deep underground, hide what remains of the human race. In a post-apocalyptic world in which the sun has been replaced by darkness, the few survivors have been forced underground to protect themselves from evil predators that roam the surface of the Earth in search of their preferred prey – Man. Suddenly their fortified world is thrust into even greater danger - an infiltrator is amongst their ranks. And now, no one is safe from the jaws of the undead. Who can be trusted? As vast armies of vampire soldiers close in and the complete annihilation of the human race looms, it falls upon the shoulders of head tracker, Jacob Cain, to find a solution before it is too late. |
